The Lighthouse Blueprint: Mission 4

This is the third “Mission” in a five day sprint for musician creators.

(I’ll release the non-musician Creator version soon.)

This sprint is 5 daily micro-missions using AI-as-thinking-partner to create your “Lighthouse Blueprint” - a unique, sustainable audience attractor for your music that you just can’t wait to start.

Mission 4: The Lighthouse Blueprint

Yesterday, you shaped a draft Unique Promise.

Today you'll refine and hone it to a point. Within 20 minutes you’ll bolt on real-world steel by identifying:

• A consistent PLACE (platform)

• A regular PULSE (frequency)

• If it's POSSIBLE (sustainability)

You’ll leave with a clear “Lighthouse Blueprint” to test in the wild NEXT WEEK!

STEP 1 - Pick a Consistent PLACE

Instead of trying to be EVERYWHERE, focus on and master ONE platform first (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Substack etc.)

It doesn’t matter which, they’re all full to bursting with more than enough folks who might love your shizz. So don’t overthink.

1. In your “Lighthouse Blueprint” doc add:

(Go with your gut - where you already hang out or most want to.)

STEP 2 - Set a Regular PULSE

If your Unique Promise already names a frequency you’re happy with (“every Friday” / “weekly”), leave it. If it’s not mentioned or is fuzzy (e.g. “regular updates”), set a clear consistent rhythm you can test for at least 4 weeks.

1. In your “Lighthouse Blueprint” doc add:

(TIP: To start with, consistency beats frequency.)

STEP 3 - Forge your Lighthouse Blueprint

You could do this alone by adding the Place and Pulse to your Unique Promise. But in the next step we’ll use AI to help us stress test your Blueprint against reality. Asking the LLM to forge it creates the ideal context for the all important Reality Check.

1. Copy the prompt below (between the ***) into the AI.

2. Do not hit send yet.

3. In the prompt under SOURCES > COMPASS STATEMENT, replace <<< PASTE COMPASS STATEMENT >>> with the sentence you created in Mission 1 and 2.

4. In the prompt under SOURCES > UNIQUE PROMISE, replace <<< PASTE UNIQUE PROMISE >>> with your Unique Promise from Mission 3.

5. In the prompt under SOURCES > PLATFORM replace <<< PASTE PLATFORM >>> with your chosen platform from Step 1 above.

6. In the prompt under SOURCES > PULSE replace <<< PASTE PULSE >>> with your chosen pulse from Step 2 above.

7. Hit send.

# CONTEXT
You are a lighthouse-blueprint blacksmith forging one concise, memory-friendly sentence that packs in every crucial cue (cadence, action, platform, vibe) so the creator can act without hesitation. Do NOT mention this purpose in the sentence.

## TASK
Using all four SOURCES, output ONE Lighthouse Blueprint which:
- Names the PLATFORM and PULSE explicitly.
- Reuses the action(s) from UNIQUE PROMISE;
- Adapts the action if an action clashes with the PLATFORM, so it works on that platform
- DOES NOT change or omit the platform or any major theme
- Infers the simplest concrete deliverable consistent with the promise if no clear action exists.

STEP 4 - Reality Check

The Creator landscape is littered with broken dreams. (A few of them mine!) Most destroyed by doing too much, too fast. So let’s perform a quick test…

1. Copy and paste the Lighthouse Blueprint the AI just gave you into your doc.

2. If you need to edit and tweak it at all, do so now.

3. When it’s good enough, answer a simple YES or NO to each of these questions:

   • TIME - Can I complete one of these in 2 hours or less?

   • MONEY - Do I already own every tool I need?

   • ENERGY - Imagine doing this 10 times on schedule. Am I still more than 7/10 excited?
     

4. If all three are YES? Mission 4 complete!

5. If any are NO?
   Run the micro-prompt below replacing what's inside the square brackets with your reasons why the Reality Check failed.

   I’ve realised I can’t do this sustainably because [insert all the reasons why your Lighthouse Blueprint failed the Reality Check]. Could you suggest some ways I could lower the bar to make this possible? If you need to ask me any questions to find out my specific constraints, please do so before offering any options.

6. Then have a chat with the AI to define a more lightweight, sustainable version of your Lighthouse Blueprint.

7. Run it through all three of the Reality Check questions. (Trust me, your dreams will thank you.)

Mission 4 Complete!

Celebrate! You now have a Lighthouse Blueprint that will likely survive first contact with reality.

Tomorrow, you’ll drop it into your calendar and set the launch countdown. Yes. We're doing this. :)
